Sorry for the long absence. I've been busy with a lot of stuff but I won't bore you with the details.
The house in Palo Alto has been renovated and my dad will be flying in
for Kevin's and my birthday! It has been awhile since the family has
been together so celebrating our birthday and new year's eve would be
something to look forward to.
The house is pretty much fixed now - well, sort of. I've been
doing a little shopping here and there but most of the furnitures are
intact so I didn't change them anymore. We just had to do a little
cleaning so that it'll be spic and span once dad arrives.
I wish I can give a virtual tour (that would be not impossible though) but I'm too lazy to get a video cam.
It's 2 weeks before Christmas! Time flies so fast doesn't it? And before we know it, it's 2007. This year has been tremendously great! I had my share of ups and downs but nevertheess- I'd say it has been a great year.
Highlights of 2006:
I had Juliana. I had my heart broken. I lost a good friend. I found a long lost friend. I found myself. I learned to dream.
I haven't done my Christmas shopping. I'm afraid to go to the malls because I'm sure it's like so chaotic. I've been receiving gifts from different people and most of the time, I'd feel embarrassed because I don't have anything to give them. Lucas has been getting a lot of gifts from his students. Hmmmm....maybe, I can get those and re-gift them?! Bad Marielle! Anyway, I'm talking nonsense now. I'm just too lazy to blog about anything.
I've been too lazy to blog lately. Most of the time, I just want to sleep - I blame it on San Francisco weather. It's just too damn cold to get out of bed.
